Backend Developer
A Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side infrastructure of web applications. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Designing and implementing RESTful APIs to provide the necessary data and functionality to the frontend of a web application.
- Writing and maintaining efficient and secure server-side code in languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP.
- Setting up and maintaining databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and optimizing database performance.
- Debugging and fixing bugs in the backend infrastructure to ensure that it performs optimally and meets the needs of the end-users.

Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the backend infrastructure supports the overall goals of the web application.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices, and applying these to the development process.
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong expertise in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of database design, management, and optimization.
- Ability to write efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
